On average, people will spend 45 seconds on a website. Having a well designed site will guide people to action and deliver the most pertinent information in that time frame.

Isn't it better if I start a site and have MJ Squad redesign it?NO! While clients may think that inputting data onto a site helps the design process, what they don't know, is that our team almost always needs to start from scratch. Site redesigns are often the same, if not, more cost than starting from scratch.

What is included in the website design?At MJ Squad, we believe in making the process of getting online affordable. Because of this, our services are broken down into manageable pieces where clients take the steering wheel. Website design includes everything outlined in a clients sitemap. Here is a sample site map (add picture or link of standard site map). Additional items priced separately: SEO optimization, monthly SEO up keep, hosting fees, upgraded CRM, transfer of URL from an old site, content writing, video creation, custom created artwork*, and photography. *Custom artwork is defined as art that needs to be rendered by using more than one image from out database. An example would be custom buttons for a menu shaped like guitar picks instead of words to click on.

What are website design costs?Website design costs vary. MJ Squad offers a single page template site for $1300. This is one static site page. MJ Squad inputs your content, images, colors, & branding. Check out a sample site here Standard websites cost $2300 and include everything on this sitemap. For custom sites, clients start with a $350 Discovery Session (link discovery session), which is deducted from the website total, should the client use our services. At the Discovery Session, client communicates each of the pages, which pages link to other pages etc. MJ Squad creates a custom sitemap outlined to the client after the session along with the estimate for the custom site. On average, each page of a website is $525.

How long is the process to get a website up and running?After a deposit of 50% is paid, a client has a planning session with a website designer. During this session, homework is assigned and a client's project enters the queue. This can be anywhere from 3-6 weeks to the start of the project. A client has this time to complete their homework. If homework is not ready by the start date, the client bumps to the end of queue. This ensures that we start and complete projects in the allotted time.

Can my website have pictures of my products/business I take using my phone or should I get professional pictures taken?MJ Squad recommends using professional photography for websites. It can make the difference between getting a sale and getting passed over.

Do you have a referral program?Yes! We love when our clients refer new clients to us! For each new client that you refer to us they will receive $50 off their first project over $500 and YOU will receive $50 off your next new project with us when they redeem their offer. Send referral codes to your friends, family and colleagues via email or social media post from the rewards icon on the bottom lefthand side of each page on our website. You will be notified via email when you have earned a $50 referral credit. Credit may take up to 2 weeks to appear on your account. Is there opportunities for businesses to be a sponsor for the event?Sponsorship Opportunities exists at different levels that vary by event. Top sponsor spots are permitted signage in the stage/live music area, on the event map, on the event page cover photo, and on digital billboards (when they are used). Top sponsors are able to provide materials handed out to all business vendors and displayed at the MJ Squad table. A 14'x10' vendor space is also provided to top sponsors. Holiday Sponsors for Elsa & Santa Clause would have their signage displayed at the photo area with the characters and have their name go out with advertisements of the characters on social media & billboards. What types of events do you host?MJ Squad hosts community events in the Lancaster Area. Typically, there are 4 annual events. Events are family friendly and vendors are vetted to the best of our ability within those guidelines. Non-profit organizations are invited to come at no cost and provide a free children's activity. Events have live music, food trucks and small business shopping. Links to events can be found in each event description on our event page.

Do you have options for vendor booths or size and add-ons like electric?Sizes and add ons can be found during the registration process. Indoor events have the option for electric, outdoor events do not. Other add ons, like chair and table rentals are made options in the events they are available for.

What does attendance from the public look like at an event?MJ Squad cannot guarantee attendance at any given event. Things like weather and other events in the area vary from year to year. MJ Squad does guarantee that we will use a variety of paid and organic marketing strategies to advertise the event. MJ Squad utilizes paid Facebook Ads, billboards, and emails as well as listings in event publications for advertisements. MJ Squad also asks each business to share both on social media and with their customer list.

On average how many vendors do you have at an event?Vendor number varies based on the size of the spaced rented. Typically, 50-100 vendors are in attendance with Mountville Outdoor Community Event in March being our largest venue.

How often do you do events?Events are currently held four times a year: March, June, September and a two day holiday event the weekend before Thanksgiving.

How many events have you done in the past?MJ Squad started holding events in March of 2021. After a year with 18 events, MJ Squad is holding to 4 larger, better advertised events. Both the M & J (Megan & Jacque) come for a background of sitting at events on the vendor side and are dedicated to making their events sought after, well attended, and organized.

What are your hours?MJ Squad's hours of operation are Monday though Friday from 9am-3pm EST, or by appointment. What platforms does MJ Squad use to create logos?For base cost, MJ Squad uses Canva images creatively put together for logo's. These images are not able to be trademarked, as they are a combination of existing art from our wide database of images. Artistic logos are rendered from a blank page and are 100% custom rendered. They can be trademarked, as they are 100% custom artwork.

How does MJ Squad market small businesses on social media?Social Media marketing is about posting relevant content on a consistent basis. MJ Squad offers social media maintenance and management packages to address both of these digital requirements. Social Media plans range from posting one time a week up to five times a week. Posts are added to both Facebook & Instagram. The Social Media team will select relevant hashtags and write the content for each post. Posts are scheduled a month at a time by the last day of the previous month. Social Media Management plans range from 8 hours a month to marketing plans for 80 hours a month. These flexible plans allow for social media posting, ad management, answering messages in social media, acting as a given page on social media. MJ Squad also creates targeted Facebook ads as part of an a la carte menu, though they recommended for maximum effectiveness to use ads in conjuction with one of the management plans.
